Because of their anatomy, females are prone to have bladder problems related either to recurrent cystitis or urinary incontinence. As urologists, we feel best trained to treat these maladies.

We have a Urodynamic Lab to evaluate urinary incontinence, either related to stress (straining, coughing, etc.) or to urgency (bladder instability or neurogenic bladder dysfunction).

Depending upon the needs of our patients, our physicians perform a variety of procedures to correct stress urinary incontinence, such as transabdominal cystourethropexy, rectus sling urethropexy, collagen urethral implants, etc.

We also treat female pelvic relaxation and prolapse with different transvaginal and transabdominal procedures.
